Join the crew at Princess Royal Sailing Club for a 6 week Learn to Sail Course.

Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 12:00am, starting Sat 16 March ending Sat 27 April. (Not including the Easter long weekend)

The course is open to all Adults (21+) who are able to swim with the aid of a life jacket, from complete beginner to intermediate sailor.
Come ready to sail with a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, sneakers, gloves (gardening will do) and a water bottle.
Successful participants will receive Start Helming and Start Crewing certification from Australian Sailing.

Cost  $360  (for 6 sessions).

Course Overview
The first step on the Keelboat pathway introduces you to the basics of sailing on a small keelboat, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory. In the combined course, you will also experience and develop the theory and practical skills to confidently take control on the helm.

Course Prerequisites

Water confident.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics of crewing and helming, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Crewing and Start Helming completion certificate.
